I understand about this place now, so don't worry. But I wanted to ask if anybody could tell me more. About the animals here, or the Animus, or anything!

Yeah, they're good friends! Do you know them?

Both.

[One of them she gets along with and has ~angst bonding~ time with... the other, she um. Well. They clash, to say the least.]

I'm glad Killua's got a lot of friends here!

[It's a LOT better than being stuck with his family! Gon's glad he doesn't have to worry too much about those two and a half years.]

I wouldn't call us friends.

I don't exactly know. Probably that we don't really get along.

Then you'll see soon enough. Every other week, usually, the Animus inflict on us an event. The last one was a lot of traps set up around the city, and the one before that involved being forced to see the graves and deaths of people you care for.

That's awful. Why would they do that?

Apparently, they're trapped here as well, and misery loves company. They are cruel for reasons unknown.

[He falls silent, thinking about that, expression growing more thunderous by the moment.]

[Somebody ought to stop them.]

Why would they do something like that without a reason?

It's not like you can get a straight answer out of them.

There has to be... some kind of reason, right? Even if it's just for fun.

I don't doubt there's a reason. It's just unclear... and unknown whether or not it's a good one.

So, I want to talk to them.
