[It's barely a whiff on the wind at first, but then he turns left and suddenly it smells like a different world.

His eyes pop open. It doesn't look too different, rubble and scrub, but he doesn't think he's seen a bush with leaves exactly like that one in the half-destroyed brick planter anywhere else....]
