[The video snaps on to show Gon, at close range, with his eyes dark. He stares for barely an instant before the video blurs and refocuses on his cheek as he speaks into the receiver.]

This is how I talk to you, right? I don't know where you are yet, but I'm coming to find you right now. You'd better come out and fight me.

All I have to do is beat you, and this place can't last... right?

I'm gonna find you, and make you send me back, because I HAVE TO BE THERE RIGHT NOW--

[The PCD creaks as his hand tenses, and the feed dissolves into static.]

A-ah... That won't be possible. We're working on finding the scientists and whatever it is that brings people here though. It might be a malfunctioning machine, however.

That's right. Seeing as this is all done by scientists, and they've gone missing, it's got to be occurring still for some reason.

If it helps, you'll be returned to the exact moment you were taken, no matter how long you've been here.

Because people from the same universe, but different times, show up occasionally. Given that they never notice an interruption or people from their world disappearing, it'd have to be be a seamless return. That and sometimes people randomly return home, then show up again with no memory of having been here, or at least having no memory of Adstringendum while back home.

That's what this city, and dimension, is called; Adstringendum. The reason is unknown, but some scientists made the dimension. Somehow it brings people and other things here, and while they can return, it's never deliberate or controlled.

I can't say for certain. I've only spoken to Kurapica a few times, and never Killua before. I've been here for a little over five months though.

... Some people have been here three years, if I remember correctly.
