★ IC Permissions

☆ PHYSICAL AFFECTION: Anything innocent is absolutely fine (hugging, kisses not on the lips, etc.) and you do not need to talk to me about it in advance! He's comfortable with physical affection.
☆ PHYSICAL VIOLENCE: Absolutely OK with me. He might look like an adorable kid, but he's had ... experience. Please be aware that he may respond with violence if you attack him, and he's extremely strong and fast. He will not attempt to kill or seriously maim an attacker unless he has no other way to stop them.
☆ RELATIONSHIPS: He's 14 and I'm not oocly comfortable with a relationship going beyond cuddling. That said, I'm not against him being in a relationship. He's perfectly okay with the subject himself.
☆ PSYCHIC & PSIONIC INFORMATION: He's trained as a Nen user, which is the equivalent of a souped-up super fancy version of martial arts chi. A psychic would probably notice that his aura appears to be unusually dense and has a sense of power/directness. He has lost the ability to see and direct Nen energy, but the traces of his training should still be perceptible. A psychic will also probably note that he's much more perceptive, thoughtful and intelligent than he may appear, though he's not particularly analytical. He has a serious problem with repressed anger and only shows his positive emotions, so hidden regret, sadness or anger may be noticeable to a mind-reader.
☆ MEDICAL INFORMATION: Has been repeatedly injured: two broken arms and multiple broken ribs have not been healed using Nen energy. He has had a number of more serious injuries that were healed using Nen; let me know if you want a list. Despite the injuries, he's in extremely good physical condition, unusually strong and flexible.
☆ OFFENSIVE SUBJECTS & TRIGGERS: You don't want to seriously hurt his friends. Other than that, he's often disturbingly cool with most offensive or horrifying subjects.

Please note that although Gon isn't likely to spontaneously bring up any of it, his canon includes potentially disturbing elements including: pedophilia, murder, mutilation, cannibalism, body horror, and mind control. It's possible that these may come up in conversation. Please let me know if you want me to avoid any particular subject in threads!

★ OOC Permissions

☆ BACKTAGGING: A-OK. I may drop very old threads if they seem to be petering out or not going anywhere, but I try not to. Poke me if I ever drop something you want to continue.
☆ THREADHOPPING: Also fine! Unless it's locked, threadhop anytime and anywhere.
☆ FOURTHWALLING: He's from a Jump series that's been running for upward of a decade. If your character would be familiar with it, talk to me before saying anything to him, please.
☆ DO NOT WANT: OOCly the only real do-not-want thing I have for Gon is sexual assault. Creepy behavior is OK, but please avoid groping or anything over the all-talk line. Talk to me first if you feel like this is something your character might do (coughHisokacough.)

★ First Impressions

☆ VISUAL: Short, compact, wiry and muscular for his age and size, tanned and always grinning. His hair is incredibly spiky.
☆ AURAL: His voice hasn't yet thought about breaking; it's in the alto range, clear and cheerful.
☆ OLFACTORY: Doesn't really bathe as often as he probably should. He's too busy running around. Soil, crushed vegetation, sweat.
☆ DEMEANOUR: Energetic, friendly, cheerful and enigmatic.
